1924                Tapper and Pulman would cart timber from Ohinewai for 5/- (50c) per 100 feet or about 25/- (2.50) per ton.

15/10/25  Watts and Brayshaw quoted 30/- ($3) per 100 for 3 inch drain tiles – cartage ex Morrinsville 22/6 ($2.25) per ton.

1925         When specifying for the erection of a shelter shed for Hoe-o-Tainuischool: - “All framing to be Building Heart Totara, Kauri or Rimu.  Outside covering and all timber exposed to weather to first class Heart Kauri, Matai or Rimu.”

1926         Building school – cost 16/- ($1.60) per sq ft.

1928               Building school – cost 16/6 ($1.65) per sq ft.
