Hello good people, my name is Casey, and I am going to tell you all about
water.
You may think it's a really boring drink, but it's so important to the survival of every living thing on this earth.
Water is made by evaporation, its simple really, nature is so clever. Let me tell you all about this wonderful experiment. Moisture rises up from the earth and goes into the clouds. They become heavy and burst open with rain. The sun makes the steam with heat and up it rises again.
Water has so many uses. Here are some examples:
Your body needs water to get rid of all those nasty poisons. We'd all
look like raisins without it.
Its not just us, but our pets that need water too. Always have a water
bowl for your animals. Imagine never having a bath, pooh!, you certainly
wouldn't make friends.
What about power? Okay, Okay, there are other ways of making power, but
with water it's clean and efficient. Even if you could use another source,
what would we boil our vegies in? How would we wash our dishes?, no
answer? I thought not. What about plants?, we'd have no wood for our
houses; we'd have no animals that eat grass. Just think about it, there'd be
no such thing as farmers, we'd all be out of a job.
So you see it is important, and we wouldn't be here without it. Be grateful for this wonderful liquid and don't waste it.
