Smoking

stop now Smoking is bad for the lungs. It builds up the tar levels and gives you heart disease. Most people die before the age of 65 if they smoke. If the mother continues to smoke when she has a baby, and is breast-feeding, the baby will take nicotine with the milk. Lung cancer is becoming common among those who have smoked for a long time.

Every cigarette you smoke cuts about 5 minutes off your life. If you smoke around kids it will give them the habit of smoking. Smoking causes more deaths than car accidents.

How do you stop smoking? Don't put cigarettes in your mouth: that could be hard to do; you could use a Nicorette instead of a cigarette. This is a long tube to use instead of a cigarette, there are patches that you can put on your arm and a little bit of nicotine goes into your bloodstream.

So be wise and try very hard to stop smoking and you will be happier and healthier. Your family will be healthier, wealthier and healthier too.
